Hey All,

Sean has put together the list of exactly what to do for the final assignment to make life easier all round.

This is cut & paste directly from his blog! Thanks Sean.

All assignments are due on Friday Week 13 (Fri 22 Oct) by 11:59pm.

Checklist for the Final Project
– Email your tutor the URL for your wordpress page.

Your wordpress page should contain :
– Creative strategies and ideas to add depth to your videoclip, and lure an audience.
– A 1 minute video clip
– A link to your essay
– A link to your POOL project
– A list of any authors for any Creative Commons videoclips and sounds used in your videoclip (ie you need to honour the CC licence if using a CC sourced clip). You should also link back to where those CC sounds and video were found ( helping any new viewers of your clip find the original authors if they so desired).
– Any imagery and text used to add context.

Your POOL page should contain:
– A 1 minute videoclip
– A link to your blog page
– A list of any CC references, and links to the authors.
– 5 tags to describe your work
– You should also join at least 3 groups at POOL, for the purpose of posting your video in those groups
– A link to your final project’s wordpress page.

Your Vimeo page should contain:
– A 1 minute videoclip
– A list of any CC references, and links to the authors.
– 5 tags to describe your work
– links to 3 relevant vimeo groups you have joined for the purpose of posting your video in those groups.
– A link to your final project’s wordpress page.

Your essay page should contain:
– 2000 words
– A bibliography with TEN references. At least five to relevant theory (not just a collection of techniques ), that represents half a semester’s worth of research and five ‘inspirational’.

Participation
Email the URL for a blog post which summarises ( the strengths and weaknesses of) your online participation. This can include links to your favourite 3 blog posts, links to where you have been active in any course relevant online forums / bulletin boards / communities / media hosting sites. This can also include links to your favourite 3 course relevant blog posts.

– At the bottom of your email, paste in the text from this Statement of authorship form, which states you are not plagiarising, or breaking copyright.
